Kate grew up in Cooperstown and was an active member in Otsego county 4-H showing dairy goats, beef cattle and horses. Her passion for agriculture led her to study Agricultural Business at SUNY Cobleskill. During her time at SUNY Cobleskill, Kate was an active member in various clubs as well as the livestock judging team. She always had a passion for teaching and educating youth, which then led her to the University of Missouri to pursue a masters in Agricultural Education. After living in Missouri for three years, she decided it was time to come back to New York to be closer to family. Kate is the Agriculture in the Classroom Educator for Madison county. Through the Dairy in the Classroom program, Kate travels to classrooms throughout the county teaching students all things dairy.
