Ag Economic Development Program Manager
CCE Madison seeks a thoughtful, innovative, and knowledgeable person to
serve as the Ag Economic Development Program Manager to enhance the viability
of local agriculture through product diversification, direct marketing,
promotion of local product labels and value-added opportunities. The Ag
Economic Development Manager will provide direction, organization,
coordination, and management for all aspects of the Ag Economic
Development/Local Foods Promotion program at CCE Madison. The AED Manager will
be responsible for implementation of innovative Ag Economic Development
programming that will enhance and expand the economic viability of agricultural
enterprises and preserve farmland in Madison County. Projects will change as
needs evolve and include:

Celebrate Madison
• Connecting farm businesses to new
markets and opportunities
• Farm to School
• Agritourism
• Agriculture Marketing &
Business Development
• Value-Added and Processing

The position works out of the Morrisville office, with local travel and occasional remote work opportunities. Benefits include generous time off, Paid Family Leave, NYS Health Insurance and NYS Retirement, and more.
Compensation: $55,000-$57,000 DOE
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County is hiring a SBN HR Lead Manager. This position reports to the Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County and is responsible for providing high-level leadership and human resources operations management and guidance for the Leatherstocking Shared Business Network (SBN). The position develops and maintains effective working relationships among staff at each association within the SBN, including HR administrators and Executive Directors, working in conjunction with Extension Administration Human Resources and other SBN HR Leads from across New York State to lead the human resources operation locally, regionally, and statewide to its optimal state. The SBN HR Lead exercises professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in leading the regional HR operations. Facilitates successful policy/procedure changes driven by compliance requirement or local/regional/statewide need. Provides leadership to implement system-wide initiatives at a regional level and remains consistent with Extension Administration guidance while problem solving and offering HR solutions at the individual association level as requested by respective Executive Directors. This position may also work within individual Associations to provide local HR support as time and capacity permit.
