Seasonal Madison County Food Rescue Coordinator, May-October 2024

This position will serve as the main contact coordinating CCE Madison’s food rescue programming, including working with county farmers around donations to getting gleaned produce and products to county and regional food banks and end users and all steps in between. This position requires recruiting, training, and working with volunteers, harvesting and delivering food, and supporting safe food handling and use.

• This is a part-time (16-20 hrs./week), non-exempt position.
• Compensation is $18.00/hr.
• Required: Associates’ degree or Equivalent Education (High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of transferable functional experience).
•  Experience relevant to the role of the position, including familiarity with farming or gardening (especially harvesting), cooking or using vegetables, and working outside in all weather conditions.
