    Office Coordinator

    This position will serve as the Office Coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association Madison County. The Office Coordinator will support administrative direction and management, and will provide administrative coordination for all Association operations as well as assigned communications and volunteer management support responsibilities. This position will also provide support to the Board of Directors and the Executive Director as identified. This position performs a moderate number of complex tasks to support the Association within Finance, Communications, Program, and Operations. This position will perform job duties with a high level of initiative and discretion, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

    Facilities Coordinator

    This 20 hour-week position will serve as the Facilities Coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Madison County and under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Facilities Coordinator has the primary responsibility for cleaning and maintaining the Association’s grounds and physical facilities. This position will provide support to the Executive Director to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, participants, and the public. It is the role of this position to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance schedules for the grounds and physical facilities including, but not limited to: office areas, kitchen, educational classrooms, storage areas, entrances, etc. The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for mowing; snow removal; repairs; minor carpentry and construction projects; maintenance of equipment; set-up and breakdown for meetings and/or events; and coordinating facility needs with the Executive Director and/or designated staff. Will assist the Executive Director in ensuring OSHA/PESHA safety regulations are followed. This position will represent Cornell Cooperative Extension to the general public, community leaders and government officials in a professional manner. Will appreciate and embrace diversity in all interactions with clientele, staff, volunteers, and the public.
