Beginning Farmer Discussion Series: Greenhouse and Seed Starting Tips and Tricks

Get ready for the 2023 growing season! Join Madison CCE for our new monthly farmer discussion group (aimed at farmers in their first ten years of growing, but totally open to all!!).

We'll kick off the first half of each session with a presentation on a seasonal topic (or challenge!) and follow up with plenty of time for questions, talking, and sharing experiences of the ups and downs of food production in CNY.

In February, we tackle Greenhouses and the Seed Starting process. We will start off with talking about tips and tricks for producing high quality seedlings, then go into a discussion session of problems you’ve seen and troubleshoot addressing them.

This is a new series, so reach out to our Ag and Hort Educator, Maryellen Sheehan, if YOU have suggestions on topics, preferred days/times to meet, or outside experts you'd like to see brought in!
